Hi all, i have just found our jvc kaboom in our loft, i want to sell it as its been there since 6mth after we bought it just gathering dust, but hubby says its probably worth holding onto as they were 1 of the best around in the old days? has anyone heard of them?  could anyone give me any idea as to what we would  get for it now? as opposed to it gathering dust for 100 years till grandkids try to sell it as an antique cos dad said it would be!!!  I would appreciate any ideas/thoughts on the matter particulary anyone who agrees with me and thinks we should get rid of it! thanks lindsey

Thats cool lad...I don't want one eather...can't stand em...but that mate of mine kev is looking for one...he liked the white ones i used to have with mp3 playback...mind you his faves were my m90 and gf1000...he bkagged and blagged for one of them...I basically told him where to go lol

hey lindsey and husband....the jvc rc dp 200 is a awesome 52 watt aaa-kickin boombox, i own one and personally its sweet,it has all the bells and cop blowin instruments you need, the bass and the trem are on q...and dont let anybody tell you they are not worth sqwat,ive seen them sell... in new like cond...for 4 to 500 smacks...yes..i sed dat rite...fyv hund...my advice...and i collect em...keep it!.... they aint makin em nomore....evah!...dont let nobody con you outa it,its a dynamite,party throwin,ear pearcin,bass poundin,peice of equipment.thats my word....word!

hello again folks on your dp 200 boombox its the only one with certain features is another reason to keep it,or if you decide sell... then sell..... but it is the most powerfull of all the kabooms as for mr nosey beanie burger i was not talking to him or implying he would con you, he should mind his beanie bizzness....folks enjoy your box you got a good one.

thanks everyone, your right we are skint which was why i wanted to get shut! but hubby doesnt worry about the bills so he wants to keep! he introduced our 5yr old twins to it yesturday and of course our boy is obsessed with the scratching pad while the girl is loving the bass! must admit its a great way of despatching our manically religious neighbours from the garden when they start preaching! Do you think it will be worth significantly more in future? id have thought it would be just like keeping an old nokia brick phone, everybody just seems to want smaller and smaller technology these days but i know nothing which is why ive come to you guys, thanks so much for al your advice so far youve been great, love lindsey

I was stopped by a couple of Jehovah witnesses on the way home the other day, normally I will not speak to them but this day I was in a mischievous mood.

I said to them I’ll speak to you on one condition, you must answer a question. The question was can you prove to me 100% that good exists, yes or no answer. One of them started well you have to have faith, I then repeated yes or no please. They kept saying you have to have faith, I then said you can’t prove it so you are wasting my time see ya then walked off.

imo -- these are by far the best and most valuable of ALL kabooms

they are so big and heavy - that freight to outside USA might

be prohibitive
