Boxes like the disco lite,you need to take it to ebay,no one on here will pay you alot for it because we are all aware that they are poor quality sound and construction,i know because i owned one,its only the led's that make it interesting,Get it on ebay,there will be plenty of chumps on there queing up to bid on it.

The FL-990 has a seven band EQ and 4 woofers and 2 piezo tweeters- 2 woofers are mids and have different construction than the woofers , the piezo tweeters are very crisp.. the Sigmatech ATP-520 made by Vela has a 10 band EQ and the same speakers but different light display with many more LEDS than the 990 and no lights in the woofers.
The sound could be better for sure..On mine cleaning the EQ sliders has helped they are external carbon sliders and attract dirt easily rendering them unresponsive with the EQ sounding flat.Cleaning does help the sound quality but they are not M-90s that`s for sure.
As others have said here, best to put on ebay- a sister boombox to the 990 a Skitronic recently fetched a decent price on ebay.

They aren't the most annoying. The worst ones are those "one off newbies" seeking a valuation from the forum, and then disappearing off to ePay to realise their profits.
