I put this link up because i have seen soooooo many people asking if anyone has one of these for sale,it would be good if someone like brian bregeo could buy it and make alot of copies,only problem is the lettering..

Reno lad,i would like to get my hands on that 555 you got,not because i want one,but just to fix it,i had 2,one works ok,but the decks were gone on the other,it was a bit of a pain to do but it was a good challange..only for it to suffer an humpty dumpy accident,it had a great fall,and ended up with cracks to the casing,and to the door glass on deck1..only prob picking yours up lad,i would have to travel 180 miles from manchester,i could get one of those disabled scooters and stick a 1300cc suzuki hyabusa engine on it

Id send ya the 555 and the cp7 for free lad....trouble is i can't afford the post....as you know paul lad im pretty broke and im gunna be broke for a good few months...i mean you could paypal us some postage but I don't think it's worth it lad...

And ya would like a challange ehh lad well i have that sharp thing i need ya to look at and my ca100 but the bloody postage.....id love to see both unit's working and your the man paul lad...

sharp thing ? do you mean the cd thingy ? if its that box,and if its the cd thats faulty,you need to get the part number from the sticker on "either" the side or the bottom of the laser assembly..i think there is some sharp lasers on the bay,or there was some because i seen them,thats if sharp used there own laser in that box,i think they did..

Id let you do that paul....i don't think it's the laser...she don't spin lad not an inch...iv mooved the laser up2 the top and it comes back down....but it's not spinning one iota lad

just a thought....on some units including my sony D-50 discman.....the disc wont spin if the unit thinks the door is open....thus sometimes the micro switch that detects the door being shut is sometimes at fault..........maybe worth trying a bit of cockling on the switch reno

Im thinking the same thing dave lad....trouble is i have no service spray at the moment but it's worth a try man....i have another unit that does the same thing.....one other thing tho when i shut the door it says the door is shut...so im not sure mate...

Also though,on alot of lasers,when you shut the door,the laser lens tries to focus on the disk,once it knows there is a disk in,only then will it spin,but alot of lasers are different,its like the sony kss210,or kss213,as used in most sony's and aiwa hifi's,even kenwood used them in some of there seperates cd players,wether they focus or not,they still spin..also another thing to check on your sharp lad,check the spindle motor,make sure it spins freely,also,check the spinner that the disk spins on has'nt dropped down the spindle motor shaft,if it has the focus on the laser will be all messed up,it will need lifting back up..

It's a job for you paul lad...this box aint nowt special but it's kind of a holy grail of mine,,,and I don't want to screw it up like i do everything in life...same as the ca100 god id'e love to here that aiwa...as the speakers are bigger than the ca70 and it's rated more power than the ca70...also the tranny is twice the size of the ca70....this box could be an m90 killer....i doubt it but it could.....just send us a monkey lad and i'll send  you the cage
