james, its better you sell the big hitters first, like the ones you mentioned, bigger and rarer the better..list the auctions with a reasonable start price and let them find there own value, you may not get quite as much as what you paid for them, but if your financies are as bad,i reckon you should just concentrate on getting them sold and shifted as fast as possible..
i reckon you wont have much luck selling to us in the uk as shipping just kills us,and we have that damm import duty,on the rare occation some do slip through, but most of the time we get hit with an import bill, usually around £40-£50 = approx $80
it just spoils the deal even worse because we are paying import tax, we dont get anything for it,its like throwing that £40-£50 away..

Just a suggestion but if you are making these boxes available to members (which is great) why not simply list them by name and required price?
Like this
GF-777 - $300
RC-550 - $250
Maybe accompany each listing with a description and maybe a pic or two, don't forget that not everyone has computers that play video, I know my Blackberry struggles.
Thanks for keeping this to the correct section by the way.

I was thinking of a individual thread for each brand / model in here.
Picture and Video of each brand / model - for those that have - issues - in this day and age of the internet ...
Wish there was a way to discern between those Living in Europe Versus America's.

Maybe find a US site which lists weights and costs depending on location, I'm sure such a page exists.
Anyone?

Personal curiosity but surely eBay is the best way to claw back those spend millions?

Ebay has gotten really bad. I prefer craigslist. I am in the USA if anyone cares.

tried that epay place but they charge about 11 percent total after all is done sold, then there is not much to pay bills with after that... it's a lot of grief for tears...

Hello James,
Excuse me that I've sent you a private message. But for some reason it didn't allow me to attach a picture of the boombox I'm looking for. So here it is:
It's the National/Panasonic RX 5030. With 4 radio bands (AM, FM, SW1&2) and dark color. Do you have one like this for sale?
Best Regards,
ZStereo

Doesn't matter, you'd still get more from Ebay than you would with ANY other method.
You seem to have lots of nice boxes to sell, but the problem is you never post a list of all of them. Instead, you post 10-minute videos where you pan your camera across everything, expecting people to hit "pause" and try to figure out what model it is. It isn't very realistic to expect people to do that.
I mean seriously, it can't be all that hard to take a piece of paper and write down everything you have.
Then you could post that list here, and let people contact you if they're interested.
But if you want the biggest amount of money, you should put them on Ebay. Why? Because it widens the audience dramatically.
Think about it, if you had an M90 in nice shape, someone on this board MIGHT offer you $600-700.......But if you threw it on Ebay, you'd probably get more than $1,000.
Most people on boombox forums are rather cheap. They act like they don't have a lot of money during negotiations, but then later if they see it on Ebay, they bid more for it.
No disrespect, but if you're really hurting for money, Ebay is the way to go.
