I serviced one of these years ago.  As I recall, a fuse in the Amp section fixed a similar issue.  These were awesome units!

I Love these Pana Dt 3 piece..i will always be a fan of their sound and Quality,they sound awsom,the bass they give is awsom,they were the last of the nice boomers before it went to egg shaped and kabooms..

i have a 680 and i love it..who ever does'nt have one,need to try one,they wont be dissapointed..and $75 for one of these is nothing..worth it all day long !!

EDIT..yes i remember repairing one of these too,the sound was dead,it was a transistor shaped cp (circuit protector) i think the part was N15

I agree these knock spots of most sharp boxes....better than boxes like the jvc pc55, jvc pc5....if only they wern't black....but for that price whomeaver buys it won't be dissapointed
