Sony CFS-85S (V8) zilba'p being wrecked.

I'm parting out a lovely unit, the above mentioned Sony CFS-85S, the one with the 'wood' on the sides.
It's complete minus the woofers and the removable cloth grilles.
When listened to through headphones the left channel stays on at full volume and the right can be controlled as per normal.
The antenna tip is damaged.
A switch is missing from the tuner board.
The side panels are purple wallpapered (it comes off though).
PM me if you need any bits. It unfortunately goes in the bin at the end of the month as I'm moving house.

425? you're having a bubble
those yank V8's were always detuned to run on their pissy low octane fuel and emission regs.
I seem to recall the 8.0 litre in the Caddy Eldorado was no more than 200bhp

230bhp 295 Lb-Ft Torque - in my - 2001 Dodge Dakota Quadcab 4x4 Stock 4.7L Automatic 5-speed with AWD performance run 0-63 mph
well this fuel is plenty for everydaydriving
This is the classic way, to send a post off-topic.
and you led the way with the 'bhp'

Hands up bro.
claret.badger - 2012-01-02 08:39
your 4.7 = 230bhp - and probably 17 mpg (imp)
my 1.8 = 210bhp - 36 mpg (imp)
inefficient

may be.. but mine will tow your's on a trailer and be very efficient
also I dont have to change gears to go off-road
or anywhere for that matter that yours may be bogged down in!
plus I dont have to crawl in/out of mine - I just step out/in
