i have two ghettos    that i love one analogue one digital for tuner otherwise the same

jvc pc-w310 and pc-w320    awsome sound    i have 4 of the cd walkmans that fit inside the ghettos    3 still work great    jvc didnt make them you may know them as the technics   sl-xp7   jvc bought some and called them the xl-r10   how do i post pics of them for you guys?

I have a Technics SL XP5 (still in it's box) but it's not working properly yet. Is the XP5 model compatible with the 310/ 320? If it is...I'll be checking the bay shortly..

yes it will work with the pc-w310 0r  320 but you need a little modification   i have the schematics for the unit shows everything perfectly    i can email how it will work in the unit but as for the power supply it is the same   +6   _6   ground   three prong   what is wrong with yours?

I haven't really delved into it in a while, but it would power up but that's it

Sorry abou the missed response, I am currently seeking out a local shop that will address the issue (I may have a bead on one..fingers crossed) and hope to restore it.

If it's too much $ to fix I'll let you know

thanks i dont really want the xp5 but for parts i might need the power spindle that turns the cd   mine might be gone  i ordered two new lasers which was hard to find in asia three more and they are done for good but i dont know if that will fix it i am sure the xp5 power spindle is the same even though it is a different laser   i am trying to fix my fourth cd walkman and the one you have might work if no luck in fixing yours i would take it for parts if possible   i would appreciate it a lot i know lots of places that list parts for it but they come up short when trying to order them so i looked over the world and found places  but it costs enourmous money   anyway good luck but if you cant fix it i would like it for parts  my system is actually pretty nice and although a ghetto it sounds great take care and let me know if you need anything i do have schematics for the xp7 which are probably identical to the xp5 if you need sergio
