I have a Sharp GF-525 going free to a good home. All you need to do is

pay the shipping.

The 4-band radio works well. The cassette decks are currently eating

cassettes and will need some work.

The unit is located in Cambridge, U.K. If you are in the Cambridge area,

or in North / Central London, the Midlands, or mid-Wales, I may be

able to get it to you for free as I visit these areas fairly regularly.

If I can't find a taker on here within a few days, it is going on freecycle.

Just dropping in this thread to say that Frank came through and it arrived yesterday.

The 525 is in great condition, just dirty so it is getting a nice deep clean as I type

Also the grommit goo from hell on all Sharp's hit this one too sadly so is being fixed, also as I type

Yep just got it back together, rebelted, re grommitted , cleaned up and fully working.

Not a bad sounding unit at all! surprised me a little, it is better than I thought it would be

to be fair they dont sound that bad, its the lack of bass that niff"s people, i am fitting d8614 speakers doing a trail fit tommorrow along with some other bits and pieces.

Cleaned up quite nice, needs a little more outer cleaning but overall
