Don't worry Si it's not my minter. I'm in the process of picking up a beat up 9191. I'm going to use the tape deck, but everything else should be up for grabs.

Would anyone on here be interested in some spare parts?

I'm located in Stockport, England.

Yeh if I did blag the whole thing I'm not bothered about aerials etc I'd rather many boxes were sorted by stripping it. But if there's enough left working to mod I'd still be interested

Aerials might be knackered. I'll let you know either way when I see the box in the flesh.

Seen the pics...aerials are well knackered I'm afraid Dave. The plus side is that I get a nice box to rebuild (its another smasher!) and mod after the decent deck is transplanted

Yes sorry to disappoint you Docs, the aerials are well and truely knacked. If it's any help I saw a 9191 aerial just go on ebay today?

Si is going to put it's deck into my minter (and swap over another couple of parts - I'll buzz you about that later Si). Then he'll have it for some modding.

It was a real shame to scrap a 9191 that apart from being beat up is in good working order. I'm really happy that I've rescued it and Si is going to give it a good home.

Can't wait!...been waiting for a decent but knackered box to ressurect ever since I did my Sharp GF9000 and this 9191 definitely fits into the right category of mechanically sound but cosmetically shagged to hell lol

Hello there

The deck is no longer being broken. As the electronics are sound, just the case mashed, myself and Notherner (Si) have decided to split it between us. I am getting it's tape deck and Si is getting the rest to mod.

So no parts are now available. However the power cord is a standard figure of 8 lead. You can usually get them through freecycle. But I've got one spare if you need it.
