Hi all

Well here goes, I'v decided to quit boxes for the foreseeable future due to financial problems and lack of interest.

Today for one day only I am offering both my Philips d8614 and hitachi 3d80 both fully working and in immaculate condition for the bargain price of £60 inc p&p.

This will be a UK sale only due to shipping ect, any interest through dialogs please, rgds Azz

No matter how bad your financial situation; surely this is going to upset whoever sent you that for nothing?

I don't know if it's work that is getting on top of you or what, but I hope you feel better soon and that you can get away with not selling the machines.

It was my bro who gave me the 3d80 Nick as he never used it and it has been sat in he's cupboard for over a year gathering dust.

I know I will probs regret it but needs must I'm afraid as I really am struggling with finances at the mo and must pay a priority debt, (hence the quick sale).

If they don't sell today I will probably keep hold and try other avenues.

Sorry to hear this news Azz! I agree with deech! I hope you don't have to sell the boxes and if you're having a break from the hobby I hope it's only a short one.

Thanks all of you guys for the kind words it means a lot, you guys have been like brothers to me over the last few years and some of you newer guys too so thank you all.

I don't think the boxes will sell in such a short time and by tomorrow the sales ad will be gone as I know by then I will decide to keep knowing me I'm defo not giving up on boxes for good but taking a much needed break from them is probably what I will do.

I have 3 kids and every spare penny I have goes on them so leaves nothing to buy boxes atall, this plus the fact of not being able to get to markets and bootsales where I live kind of kills my love somewhat.

I hope things turn around for the better in the future and I can be back on here with something worth showing lol, until then take care all and keep blasting

Hey Lav, sad to hear! But sometimes it's good to take a break from a hobby. If you sell your D8614 I will send you one of mine for free  So at least you can still enjoy the beautiful sound and still feel happy. It won't be an mint example at all, but it will also not worth selling.

Not again haha.....i know arron im just as bad...well it all started going down hill for me when i sold you and andy those boxes ....any way if i were you id keep em....60 quid wont help your situation much, if you know what i mean....one of the reasons i sold the best part of my collection was cuz i was thousands in debt and still am in debt....but fook em you wouldn't sell your mother would ya...lol..any way good luck lad im sure you'll keep em
