Remember Stevie Wonder running in the desert? 

Awesome finds ret, one of my faves was the memorex with the computer graphics...and of course secondly the famous maxell one with the guy sitting in the chair....yeah never saw the stevie wonder....cool!!

Wow nice collection of ads retro, I have to admit I have never seen any of them before.

The Maxell one with the guy in the chair is an iconic image I remember well and now I know where it came from.

Love the Stevie Wonder track in the first ad Do I do from the album Original Musiquarim I, I have just dug it out and listening to it now. I think I will have to add it to my thread “What music are you listening to right Now”

Do I do featured Dizzy Gillespie and the track is about 9 minutes long.

Wow mark you have keen eyes, I looked at the ad again and it is a 1000ZXL

i just thought it was a bit funny. as i watched the videos down the list, the first maxell add, with the butler, left me wondering why they would have used such a generic looking deck. and then when i came to the dramatic maxell add, i noticed that the deck door said silent mechanism/dual capstan and i thought that seemed more appropriate at least. and then when i saw those quite identifiable control buttons of the 1000zxl, i thought it was funny. from the most generic to one of the most distinguishable.
