I remember Rough Trade in London back in the 80s -- simply amazing

I miss queing up for new releases. The longest one I remember was Joshua Tree from U2. Hours in pi$$ing rain but boy was it worth it

Sadly now I can shop from my iPhone and d/l it in seconds...the magic of the record store is lost on our next gen.

As I travel a lot within Europe my most ever favourite record-store closed a few years ago, it was BLACK-MARKET-RECORDS in Vienna, Austria -

...followed by PICADILLY-RECORDS in London, also know a Great record-store in Lausanne, Suisse and a killer-store (...forgot the name but would find it immediately) in Birmingham

I LOVE vinyls, just today received two new ones, bought online (one from Laurent Garnier, one from Minilogue)...

...gonna get me some booze and headphones right now ;-)
