While I wasn't really thinking about selling it... I have a minty RX-5600 (Ira will confirm) that I might consider selling for a fair price.

It even still has the sticker on the cassette door.

However, I must admit that, while the tape deck does work properly, I also noticed that the box sounds much better from the radio than it does from tapes.

I like its look so much more than my other boxes, though...

A minty RX-5600 with sticker, very cool JT.

I agree there is something about the 5600 that gives it an extra cool factor and it's an excellent sounding box to boot.

Hi,guys. In my opinion the 5600 does not sound too good.Better buy a 7000.Much better.Good luck, driptip !

in the sounding department? How well does the panasonic 7700 sound in relation to this 5600 and or the 7000

come on guys take it easy lets chat in good common grounds, the 5600 may not sound as good as other radios but i really like the looks of it. so i would like to get one .. (i am an addict)

Even the mighty M90 garners opinions of great to only decent sound quality so it really depends on your opinion of sound quality. Loud, big bass, strong mids, soaring highs, etc... everybody has their own opinions of sound quality and they are usually right for their taste so nobody is really right or wrong. You have to hear them for yourself to really know. I for one think the 5600 is a really nice box but it won't win any loudness contest and it's not hard to over drive the bass, but that's just my opinion.
