Try Craigs Lists, Estate sales , Vintage audio stores and yard sales. Don't worry too much about them missing parts cause many here have extra parts boxes (usually). Best of luck!

thanks guys i am not interested at the moment. i am going to stop buying boomboxes for a while i have purchased a couple in the past week and everyone i buy there is something wrong with them. when they say it works. there are full of s**t... i am kind of mad right now and i dont want to eventhink about them for a while.....they need to describe them better......

I understand how u feel, most sellers that are dishonest thinks this is a joke to them and they need to grow up cause this is a hobbie for adults, Well I can only speak for the honest ones like myself, What I sell I describe it down to the middle if the deck is not working I'll make sure to test it to tell the seller if is a belt that needs to be change or the motor, I don't buy that saying that goes like this tape decks are on tested cause I don't have a cassette), To me that is BS u can still test the decks by pressing all the keys with the tape deck door open touching the spindles and feel if there is some tension fron the motor trying to push them, With me there is no hiden gimmicks I test everything . Don't those losers bring u down Bendycat, There are great honest sellers here on Stereo2Go. Good luck man .

Sorry Bendy cat I meant don't let those losers bring u don't I been trough horrible experiences but I go with the members to buy from also on ebay there are some good members as well so a must to do some deep research like ask for pics of all angles to pack it with plenty of packing materials to email u a tracking #, And defeanetly check the sellers feedback How this help and I hope things work out at the end .
