I have a mint/fresh out of box RC-550 JW.There isn't a flaw anywhere.I paid dearly for it and may consider selling it.I will only entertain reasonable offers,will not go any less than $800 as this Radio is mint,fully operational and considered museum quality as to it's condition.I am known to collect only the finest of radios,mint/near mint and nothing less.347-834-7330.ask for Richie......

good luck in your quest, bass-ive been looking too out for one of these guys-theyre huge for a mono!
have you tried the japan auction sites?they do turn up on there, but ones ive seen have led a hard life normally.and they are of course normally victor, and not jvc.but for me i dont mind victor, and i dont have mint boxes, so i may be looking here when i get my inheritence shortly.but think about the shipping cost.....ouch!!!!!!

i need a middleman to buy on these japan auction's...i dont need mint boxes too, i love vintage, i carry my boxes with me...so it must only work
