my boom box needs work , tape doesn't work, the sliders very crackly and one of the speaker doesn't work properly.. I love this machine, SO.. does anybody know of anywhere in the UK where i can get it fixed/serviced.. or is this something I have to learn for my self?
unless you have an endless supply of cash...its something you have to fix yourself.....check out the tech section on here cos there`s loads of instructions for fixing bbx`s................oh and welcome to the site.....where abouts in the uk are you

im not aware of a manual but im sure theres one somewhere. you just have to pull it apart and go mad for the most part.

i think your right andy....someone somewhere will have a manual......the problem is freqeist is that when you do find the part that you need. i.e. probably the idle spindle rubber (common part that fails on sharps) there is no one anywhere on this planet that will have an original part......you have to make your own...i have posted threads on fixing these....once you do one, they are dead easy ....ive done all my sharps........
