Yup the Vector handle will fit the Jvc. They are basically the same unit.

So do the PC-3,5,11,55 all have slightly different handles or do at least some of them work with other boxes???

Hey don't get all sideways.... I asked if the handles were all different lengths or if at least some of them work with others... you responded with "Yup".... well.... "Yup" to what part of the question? The first part or the second? It might aid your search if someone can let you know if a PC-3 handle would work on the PC-11, but not the PC-5... etc. Just like if you find out (like I did recently) that the battery door of a certain box was the same as a couple other boxes with different model numbers. You can expand your request to include all possible handles that might work...

skippy -- what we are trying to find out is -

-if you know if the pc 3,5, 11 and 55 handles
are all interchangeable --
ie -- the exacr same size and fasteners ?

I think the handles for a PC11 and a PC55 are the same. I'm not sure if the others will fit. I'm sure that the locking mechanism are the same with most of the PC series. The measurement between the handle mounts on my PC-11 measure approx 10.75" [URL=[URL=http://imageshack.us]

The PC-3 handle will work on a PC-11. I goofed around a bit with my Vector VMC-100 handles swapping them with the PC-3 and they are the same dimensions.

I have Oldskool69 checking out the dims on the the PC-3.


BTW the "slot" the handle goes into for the PC,5,11,55 is the same, or at least close enough that different handles "fit" that area... I asked OS69 to check on the PC-3 just to make sure...

Hey... we were typing at the same time!

Just for clarity's sake lets get the dims on the PC-3... And the Vector for that matter. Just to totally clear this up once and for all....

I'm in Montgomery this week for work. So I can't give an out right measurement. I can tell you that the amp and cassette sections share the same dimensions as do the handles. This is the key. Speaker box size is a non-issue. The plate mounts also match I believe.

skippy i have a pcw 330 handle i cut down to fit the pc 55 junker i have but its black it can be shortened easily i can fit it since i have a pc 11 let me know if you are interested.its identical to the pc series handles it was longer tho so i can cut it down to fit perfectly.

That's great! I just didn't want to put him through the extra work of hacking a handle when I have complete one that doesn't require sawing. Plus, you know the Vector is the twin to the PC-11 so it's perfect.
