Sanyo Bigben M-X960K Boombox This boombox does NOT sound as Terrific as My Toshiba's WX-1's that I have
yes it get's loud with the main Speakers after number 6
on the volume dial but at that point the main speakers ,,,
" out do " the Subwoofer bass output ,,, of which sound's ok
at Low to Moderate volumn then beyound that point the Sub-Bass
doesn't really have a presence ... other than sounding distorted
kinda at higher volumn's &&& at lower volumn's it sound' ok but
not as terrific as I thought that it might sound ...
OH yeah the cassette player works perfectly on this one, even the pitch control
of which I didnt know that it had. the Radio is not that great as it
works but it cannot get a stereo lock-on a station maybe it need adjustment.
and since this came from CA All exteriour parts of this are rusted including
the battery compartment, not corroision but simply rust ...

BUT --unless you always need to drive your boxes to the 'test its limits' stage --

Glad you received your big ben james, but im also thrilled that the tosh wx1 sounds better, thats another box i can wipe of my list.
You know somehting there rimmer36 as I am looking at your avatar and thinking I have 2 gf777's as well hmmm maybe I can build a towering pile of worthless boombox's with the best box on top as well :-) as YOU have Done :-)
