Looking for a tweeter for a JVC PC55 speaker. The part number on the back is HSA0599-01Y.

You might want to give these guys a shot... I have never ordered from them, but who knows... you might get lucky. They have other PC-55 parts listed too. But it could be an old database. I have had personal luck with long-shot orders though.

You will actually have a couple of options since white speakers have made a comeback somwhat in small systems. You may not get the exact model replacement but you can get one that matches load (impendance) and sensitivity searching the web.

It depends on how bad you want an original. I just placed an order for one of everything PC-5 just to see what might shake out of the tree. I would guess almost everything will go NLA, but I could be pleasantly surprised....

The original tweeter would be the easiest to use, but I'll readily use another tweeter that would fit the box cutout (2" in diameter), so if anyone has a pair of different tweeters, let me know.

i wont be able to check it till tomorrow cos its in my attic and i will get it down in tomorrow afternoon ,im pretty sure it works but i dont like to gaurantee it will unless i test it first so just hang in a bit i wont forget about it.
