I stole this from pocket calculator for demonstration only. Does anyone have one? Do you like it?
I'd like to acquire one......selling?
That looks awesome, kittmaster. I can see why you want one - it's the spectrum analyzer!
They would have cost mega $$$ when they were new. I hope you can find one!
I saw peppin have one of those for sale.. $199?
I always liked it especially that sexy arse spectrum!
I've always like them, hopefully I can hunt one down.
I've got one but it needs some love. I wonder who I can ship it to to handle it.
(Fix it that is.
)
PM your demands for this lovely beast.....

I just want to get her fixed. (Not like my dog, she's already in that state!
) You don't see these everyday so she has some value to me.
Whats wrong with it?
Volume jumps at will, cassettes need work, general cleaning. Has some rough solder joints. When it does act normal it sounds great. I'm willing to deal to get her running but my local shop acts like they're re-plastering Michelangelo's David pricewise.
these things take up a lot of time to fix......its not suprising....
This is true. I'll keep my eyes out for one and as soon as I spot one you'll know. If I catch one locally, I'll try to snatch it for you.
cool, thanks, I was inspired to get one from one I saw in a collection thread......now I'm jonesin.....lol
So how much you lookin to spend on fixin yours?.....maybe I can fix it for you......but its surely going to be more than $40.....
I tell you what, PM me what you think it will be based on experience. I can ship it to you. You'll also get some time to enjoy it as well. (I've always thought about temporary trading boxes to experience ones I couldn't buy or find.)

I believe that was my collection.

How does this box sound and perform? I've seen a number of them for sale at relatively reasonable prices but I can't recall a report on how well they actually perform.
At the moment all I can comment on is it's potential. It is not Sharp's best quality but when it acted right it had plenty of punch and very clear. Hopefully I'll ge it fixed so I can put it through the paces. I believe the one on Pocket Calculator belonged to our very own Mightyrepairer.

Thanks Oldskool, that's kind of what I expected. It doesn't appear to have quite the same build quality the earlier Sharps had but it shure has a mean powerful look.
That sounds like a plan. I'll PM you

Im doing a 'restoration' on a blaster i picked up for five dollars.
It does take alot of time.
As for a 'quick fix'.
Repair shops dont want to do that.
They want to charge for any repair.
