Does anyone have an Aiwa CS550 for sale. It is one of the only CS models I have not had in my collection. Here is a picture of it to refresh your memory.

Hi Skip
I'm Here..
I just saw This
Sorry Pal Your a Cool Dude But I can't Part With Mine.
I love it. I got Mine from Craigslist.
I went on There about 7- 8 months ago,(right before the holidays) Miami and Fort lauderdale CL really is very weak for radios in General, a Young lady had an ad she was selling a boombox. Turned out She was selling it for Her Dad,the box was in his Garage in Pittsburgh. I emailed her thinking this whole thing was a flim flam,i never expected to here anything again. A few weeks later i get an email she went up to her dad's and brought the box back with her to fla!
She emailed me to give me first shot, she was asking 300.00 which i really could not swing, especially right after the holidays! I went over saw it loved it everything worked and we agreed on $225.00
EXCEPT for my Conion that is the most i have spent on any boombox in my collection, more then the marantz more then lasonic, more then any jvc.
It is special and i feel i kinda saved it! It works but i put some time into it to make it clean and presentable, the only blemish is a missing battery cover. For the rarity factor and the grind factor and the sentiment, can't part with it.
One hint do a boombox search on Google or yahoo, and try CL outside your local area,i found a MINT 1930's Emerson Table Tube radio just a few weeks ago in Iowa doing the same thing, the guy had no qualms about shipping it to me here in florida and for 30 bucks i got a nice clean working radio. Shop goodwill.com that's even more of a longshot then ebay but my tpr 926 was just on there about a month ago and sold for 250.00! Good luck Pal,sorry i can't grant your wish on this one. Take care!
