a few weeks ago i found my first Discolite box, and i can say that i never thought it would be so much fun having one, good luck on your quest.

How does a Discolite sound?

Or is mainly just a cool looking box?

Sound is ok. Bass is a little lacking. Highs are so so... not as crisp as some. EQ does help. Won't fill a larger room, but your average family room will be fine. But the light show display more than makes up for the ok sound in my opinion. This is a fun box for people to look at and enjoy sight and sound.

^ I agree,I don't have one yet but it's on the wish list. I really want it just so I can see the kids reaction They were freakin out just veiwing it on youtube
