cali -- do you have a ace hardware near you ?

some of their stores -- in an obscure location (you have to ask for it)--have old metal cases with about 500 spring sizes --
something will work .

I just need to see what they look like and the size/shape...just wondering if anyone was in the middle of a rebuild and could snap a quick pic. Don't know what I was thinking though...as I am typing this there is a complete Clairtone 7980 sitting right next to me...duh. Forgot I grabbed it out of storage. This move still has me all effed up !!
