i have an sk 550 deck i dont know what kind of shape its in if it would work for yours i'll look at it closer.

thats what i am trying to do is to get a part that runs a pin inside its so worn down that the pin goes all the way in locking it. its suppose to turn all the way around everytime the play button is pressed, so right now the only decks with that part is the sk21,31,61,71,95,909,900 these radios share the same loaded decks not sure if threre were any home decks with this type of deck if there were then i would be saved

can you post a pic of the part/parts you need then i can look around to see if i have anything similar.

ramon i know exactly wich part you mean lad, all my pioneers had the same problem untill i got the exact belts you need to change all 3 cuz its the belt that drives that white weel cog around, try a slightly smaller belt not on the main belt but on that short thick one.

I have found that home decks would often share parts. Especially on the JVC's. Would be worth a try.

ok to answer rimmer i went to all the belts possible it was not the belt as the the part that turns when you press play has a pin that pin went inward causing it to not turn,,it is suppose to turn smoothly where the pin sits the plastic is worn and small cracks are visible thats why the pin shifted inward i checked some home decks in the pioneer line ct-4 ct-6 the buttons look like the ones of the sk-95 but since i cannot see a front pic of the deck so no telling if these series of decks may infact share some deck parts.. in any case i will have to try to remove the pin and find a simular pin but with a head then try to work it in hopefully but in the mean time i will keep watching to see if i can get a bbx on the bay or craig

I thought Henrytai was trying to unload a pretty much non-working sk-900 on the bay recently....it never sold as far as I remember. Might be worth a shot.

DM4U check out my dakota pics in the off topic section, I didn't want to take over this thread, your dakota looks like the same model I used to have. actually when I had the dealer find mine I told them any color except for your color. Later on I started liking that color cause it was rare.

Ramon, just make the part from scratch,actually I would make it out of metal than sell them to everyone else that has a similiar Pioneer.

Is it the plastic part you are after or the wheel and pin behind ?
If you can see in the pic the plastic part has a crack in it, not sure if that should be there ? Anyway if this can help let me know
