Hello there fellow S2G members,
Have taken delivery of my first box (what a feeling + 3 more in the post!), a GF-9000E.
Need a few parts for it if anyone can help me please, and apologies beforehand if my descriptions expose my level of newbism:
- Left volume switch connector (white plastic piece only that sits behind the switch itself)
- Right tweeter grill
- Sharp badge(not sure if these are interchangable with other models)
- Original power cable
- Speaker Selector button (In/Ext sp)
If anyone can help, feel free to post or PM.
That little lot and a thorough cleansing, and it will look as good at it is sounding! (Have seen mixed opinions on this box on here, but as a first one, I'm buzzing)
Thanks for taking the time to read this, and best regards to you all.
hey mate !
welcome and congrats on the gf9000 , nice looker or what !
I cant help you with any of the parts I'm afraid. Any old figure 8 cable will do for power tho.
good luck with the search , try and post some pics if you can ,
cheers
Thanks royal and yes it looks the absolute business. I'll be posting some pics once I have unboxed the 'starter pack' which should arrive in the next couple of weeks:
- nr mint Helix 4636
- mint Sanyo M-X920L
- GF-777, which I may get lucky on, or more likely be a complete disaster, given where it is coming from. I found S2G AFTER that purchase.
I have a million and one questions as you'd expect at my stage (on cleaning them, insuring them, shipping/customs etc..) and am looking forward to heading into the wild this weekend to look for bargains.
Cheers

cant help with any 9000 parts ewen, but welcome and congrats on a great first box, did you get it from uk ebay (was watching it but didnt bid)
Yes Geoff. Bit of a punt given that the seller didn't know much about it (less than me if that's possible) but very satisfied with the condition (save the odds and sods shortlist mentioned above) - mechanically/audibly fantastic.
Hi. I can sell you a mint GF 9000...
Thanks for the offer - I've been busy since this thread started and now have all the above issues (thankfully) resolved. Cheers.
