Anyone have the cassette doors off a GF-777 that you can spare and make available?

OTHER NEEDS/WANTS:
* volume knob for GF-777
* Still looking for 15v motor CCW for RX-5350.
* main amp board for RX-7700.

Some of the part descriptions are difficult to understand. I assume that the "trim cass lid" is the aluminium strip on the cassette door but I'm not sure. I could do with a new pair of those but I think the originals will be impossible to get off without causing damage to the door itself, unlike the ones on the GF-555!

no prob amanda,i reckon the prices are expensive but they are new,and available now..but if you value your box,the money should`nt matter..all you should care about is the end result..

looked through that lot rather hoping for a replacement case back. Bit optimistic, eh?

That's very true, I'd happily pay out to get my 777 looking the way it really should.

Has anyone actually tried ordering parts and had the order filled? Over here in U.S., there are several sources that show such items to be available for "vintage" boomboxes. I've seperately ordered almost 20 varous items from motors, cassette trays, antennas, switches, battery covers, potentiometers and so far, not 1 item (except a service manual) has ever shipped -- eventually, all the orders (exception as noted above) was cancelled due to parts NLA (no longer available).

I did send an email asking the source posted here if they would accept and ship orders to the states. I did not get a response.
