According to my tech i am in need of a power supply board so if anyone can help that would be great.
He also said if he had the schematics for this he may be able to make sense of the modifications done to the power board. Where would i find that ??

I also need a tuning knob and 1 red slider tab too.

I've repaired a discolite, it was an real difficult task, hope your guy is a true cracker jack, because he'll have to research the IC's, find the datasheets, apply the reference design applications and then use his infinete knowledge of input summing junctions of sources to downstream amplification........yep, that's all he needs......

Spoke to my tech today and both tape decks are playing great and sound good, new belts etc. But no lites !! A disco-lite with... well... no disco lites
He said he is working on it so will keep you posted.
Still interested in parts if anyone has some.

well if the tuner tapes and aux are working then that is half the battle. If NONE of the lights are working then its one of two things, the switch that activates the lights needs cleaning/rebuild or the power WIRE from the top to slave board is missing/broken or the interconnect ground is missing. If only part of it was working then it would be one of the 4 banks of transistors on the slave board, but if nothing works, most likely, power is not getting down there......and THAT is an easy fix......

Thanks kitt from what he was saying its had some solder modifications done before for some reason ?? A bit like the one you fixed i think (i checked out your old post and pics)
