Trying to track down some info on this box, my Dad bought one in the late 80's I believe from Sears. It had ambiance and was all metal if I remember correctly. He used to put it on the picnic table while grilling up burgers on a hot summer day while playing the oldies.

I'd like to try to find him one for his upcoming birthday so if anybody knows what it is or has one sitting on their shelf they don't really care about please let me know. I saw one on ebay a while back and it went cheap: $25. I'm hoping I didn't miss my chance to buy one..... Would like to find a really nice one, a new in box one would pretty much make my year.

If all else fails, contact the buyer in that auction and see if he's willing to part with it. I know I would if I knew why you were after it.

Pan Fan.... my dad would like nothing more in life than knowing that I own a mint condition RX-5350. Seriously... the day I was born he said if they ever made anything like an RX-5350 he would want me to have it before the summer of 2009. That was 40 years ago, and I am sure you understand how much that would mean to me... I mean him. Oh, and he wants me to pay less than $100 shipped for it. Can you help him out???

And just to clarify, I wasn't saying that I was only willing to pay $25 for one. If someone has a really nice one out there I have no problem paying a fair price. After all I did just buy an M90
