Hi ya all; CLooking for a G.E.3-5259A known as the Blockbuster in near mint condition with very lite wear anyone please email me info about this unit like these are the things I would like to know about. Does it picks up reception good on the dime? Does line/aux works with Ipods or cd players? How is the chasis?body of the boombox condition does it has any cracks? How much wear does it show a few lite scratches or deep scratches? Does the antenna post is intact with the antenna itself? And does the sound is equal on both side? Is it scratchy? I'm looking for a near mint one but if yours the only flaw is the changing of the belts then I am very interested in one. And that all parts are intact and original including battery compartment. Let me know how much for it. Thanks fellas I really appreciate it.

Fatdog is right about me having one. It's what I'd call near mint after he cleaned it up for the Florida meet. I had to drill the antenna post stub out because it was seized in place and needed an antenna plus a few tiny dings and that's it. It is a pretty well rounded box for it's type and punchy as well. Very strong tuner. (I live in the sticks.)As a matter of fact the Realistic SCR-8 and Blockbuster are twins. Very good on line in as well. Bobby (Fatdog) got a chance to listen to it at my house as well.

I don't know about selling it just yet as I just got her. If I were to let her go I would rather trade though. I will keep you posted though.
