This model holds special memories for me and I have been looking everywhere but it seems this is a tough to find model. I've been searching for some time so if someone is planning on selling or knows someone who has one in good/excellent condition I am very interested in purchasing.

I see them on Ebay frequently,and I'm sure someone will have one for you. Just be persistent and check around often. I'll be watching for one for you too.
I've had a couple RX-5080's,they are a nice unit,and sound quite nice for only having a tone control.
