I know it's a very long shot but does anybody have the original woofers and antennas for an Aiwa CS-880? If the woofers need refoaming that's okay.
how many did you get so far, don ?

Well, in fantasy numbers he has 39 spare woofers and 10 passive radiators. Oh and 67 antennas.

OS that's about right, I'm overflowing in rare and needed parts in my fantasy workshop. In my real workshop I have next to nothing, that's why I have to plead, beg, cry or whatever is necessary on S2G.
Ira, this parts request has prompted exactly zero offers but that's why I called it my Fantasy 880 parts search.
thats predictable in this case -- most all of my want ads also turn up ZERO items -- but a few good laughs
next time -- its sinisters turn for a mulligan.

Your right, these want adds can be fun and if they actually turn up the parts all that much better.
I will have a few more of these in the future, well actually I will probably have a lot more in the future.
parts requests or the winning lottery numbers...you have the same chances for hitting both...actually on here it seems like you might have a better shot at the lottery...

Thanks ahardb0dy but I've already looked there, they don't have what I need.
At least with the lottery if I win I could afford to pay someone with a nice 880 an insane amount of money to rip it from their grasp.
Don, if you win enough - why not just buy Aiwa from Sony, and have them start producing old school boomboxes for us all
The guys at wallmart dont even know what a boombox is, your in trouble
.

Now there's an interesting idea for the person who has everything and way to much money.
Tim, most of the staff at Wallmart probably weren't even alive when these classic boomers were made.

PM back at ya!
I know my mom has an old boombox I cant remember who made it. but it has seen better days. she used it in the bathroom for many years. if fell many times. lol It looks something like masterblaster84's photo but in really bad shape. looks very beat
but anyway. you could put want adds on
www.craigslist.org you never know what someone may have laying around. or someone may of picked one up at a yard sale or thrift store and may not know what they have. as far as they know they made good money but you may get a steel of a price. I have put wanted adds on craigslist and most people want more then there items are worth but from time to time I get someone who just wants the items gone and they offer them to be at very good prices or free.
