What happened??

WTF ! ! ! i have a few wx-1 ? what gwannnn ?

nothing happened to mine --its fine --
and even way too minty to carry around and use/abuse --

so -- if i could buy a WORKING beater -main box --then use headphones (or a set of good mini speakers)--
the meter and tuner lights are so nice --
that it might be a cool out-on -the porch-at-night thing -

thats the story

ira more than sure if the girls see you with that beater box they may end up calling 911.

Actually, a few months back, someone was selling the center section only, with no drivers....not uncommon to ask....

Oh don't get me wrong, I just figured that some people would fight like mad just to get a center section on the cheap (if it were cheap)to have on or as a spare for parts.

And good idea too Ira if you have a spare set of speakers for someone who may need or want them.

Very good point, as a matter of fact, Ira was gracious enough to offer them to me for my WX1 since he remembered that I was looking for drivers. I declined because I found a great replacement driver for each cabinet. They require some grinding to put a circle in a square frame, but they sealed perfectly and they sound spectacular.

Its nice to see everyone helping each other out!

Hey i'll take the speakers if someone has mint ones.. . I have the centre section but the speakers arnt the best.
