Yep, same model but $299 is a much more realistic price. Low enough to watch and even consider, maybe.

When you add $150 shipping - it doesn't seem low anymore. I have to say - after spending freely last year - I find it harder to buy anything right now - even though the prices are a lot lower than in November/December.

What I like about it is that it's a seller in Japan (a pro-audio/keyboard person, from the looks of it) who's actually using eBay and selling worldwide. It's depressing to surf Yahoo.jp and see all those cool electronics, but have no way to bid on them or buy them! (...other than using a Japanese buying service for a fee or finding a friend in Tokyo)

Oh I didn't catch the shipping charge of $152, your right Vladi it doesn't look so good now. I'm out of this one for sure but I'll watch it.

I've noticed a downward trend in boombox prices lately as well but I'm wondering if it's just a seasonal thing or if the prices really have trended back down.

I think it might have something to do with a "post-holiday" sindrom - when people spent so much on Christmas - they don't have any money left. I know I dont!! Fewer bidders = lower prices. I'm starting to think - November is time to sell, and Februrary is time to buy!

That's my initial thought as well so I guess come April or May we will no because the prices would rise again. Stay tuned for the boombox insanity check in several months.
