Your going to have to pull the cover for an upclose and personal view. I'm betting they are exactly the same device, but no way to be sure until you can show the device counter itself......

iv'e noticed that alot of tape counters are exactly the same some just mount a little differenly but the square button part is almost always the same.

dude the tape counter looks just like the one on the rc 838 im looking at your pic and my rc 838 and it looks the same to me ,i thnk thats a pretty common button i'll look around a bit when i get a chance. the m90 tape counter button is smaller than the one on the m80 and its a different tape counter all together.

If you guys can show a pic of the tape counter Sin needs,I might have one for him.I always keep any counters I get from junker boxes.

Looks like I have the same counter as you Dave. It looks like the button is not mounted to the counter itself,rather it needs to be seperate from the counter?
