Hi All

I'm after a D8443 cassette play gear which sits under the big spindle in the middle of the tape deck on this unit, it seems to be a common fault, you can usually find remains of it on the bottom of the inside of the case upon opening.

i saw one of those on a boot fair last week,the seller wanted £8 for it,but i left it there,it was in a real state,rusty speaker grill,all the speakers were rotted through and fell apart,ariel snapped, i normally would'nt leave a box like this but it really was bad,basically it looked like it had been dragged out of a river..shame..

maybe you can fish the bits out from the bottom of the box and glue it back together,not to use,just for reference incase you find another like it..

Cheers Beanie Man, unfortunately the gear was in lots of very small bits and all over the place, there would be no way I could have rebuilt the gear from them.
