Don't worry with these elta Beanie can come into the light to feel the warmth.
€350 worth should be enough to sort out the coldness.

ha ha ha you two crazies lol..
no its one of these i want..
i know i know its a black empty cheapo box but i'm just curious,i want to see what they are like for myself..
i just thinking if maybe someone picked one up on a flea market somewhere for 20 euro and want to make a quick profit without being too greedy..
radio.raheem - 2011-11-05 11:58
Trouble with these lad....they make a 777 look like a walkman lol
ghettoman - 2011-11-06 07:08
i know what you mean man,the j1 was bigger than the 777,but the 777 puts these things to shame on quality..but i suppose the makers of these big empty boxes were'nt trying to be top quality,i suppose they were the final last try before the death of the boombox..
billy.the.binman - 2011-11-07 13:34
whats the going rate on one of these type boxes? never seen one in the flesh and ive always fancied such a beast!
radio.raheem - 2011-11-07 13:46
In good condition who knows....i swapped an m90 for mine...wich is long gone.....best speakers i have seen in any boombox..(period) but the amp section wasn't realy up to the job of driving them.....sure it was loud ...if set wright iw was about the same as an m90 in volume....i liked mine....but all the deck cogs were screwed on her....no decks...good bye.....ohh the speakers are 10 inch......only other prob i found...the knobs kept falling off...lol
ghettoman - 2011-11-07 13:48
i spoke to someone a few weeks ago that had a mint one but he wanted 500euro for it,i like them but i dont like them that much, that price (for me) is insane, well to be mild, too much..
yes they are big but they sure aint no 777,and they dont have even a fraction of innards as a 777 either, they are better than, but they are in a simular league as a crown eg,big,black,flashy,empty..but curiosity is getting the better of me,thats why i want one..from what i've been told, they are quite loud but the amp is supposed to be weak,i'de love someone to tell me how they compare to a Super Jumbo J1..i know they are simular in size but which one would they prefure from sound and quality feel..
ghettoman - 2011-11-07 13:50
oops soz reno lad you beat me to it,yes the amps not supposed to be that good,i think blu_fuz told me about the poor amp power..
radio.raheem - 2011-11-07 14:00
Like i said paul...if set right they are about as loud as an m90....that was pushing most of the eq sliders up...wich kinda spoils the sound.....what i found dissapointing....i wanted to see the speakers bounce..and they diddn't....the speakers were exactly the same as some made by jammo or tandy....i cant remember now....i know this because i had a pair to put in.....to my utmost suprize they wewe exactly the same as the elta......
radio.raheem - 2011-11-07 14:03
Thats it i think the speakers in the elta were memorex 205...somthing like that
retro - 2011-11-07 16:17
Remember these old comparison pics BM?
Dam! and I thought that the Conion C-100F was too huge to lug around
ghettoman - 2011-11-07 17:15
i dont remember them pics retro, nice pics those, that conion looks nice..yes james the elta is a big box but i dont think its as heavy as the conion..
i'de love to know what owners of both J1 and JC2000 prefure, which looks nicer, which feels nicer, which sounds nicer ect..i'de love to know..
radio.raheem - 2011-11-07 18:04
its actually about the same weight as an origional conion paul that is down to it's huge size....and the case isnt as creaky etc as the unicef thing...man mine gave an m90 a running......but was still cool seing an m90 half the size keep up with the elta....man i say get one at a sencible price if you can.....if the decks on mine haddnt been screwed...i would still have mine
I have a Conion C-100F and a TechSonic conion TC-999 and they are the Biggest things I'll ever own &&&& I'll bet the C-100F sound's better than the big black thing up there only lacking a equalizer to make the C-100F the same as the wheely jumbo J1 ...
ghettoman - 2011-11-07 20:42
i had a c100,nice sound and it weighed a ton,but i prefure the TC999,its just my personal taste i think,if i could afford one i would purchase one for sure..the c100 is loud..from what i can remember i think it sounds simular to the J1,but i think the conion had quite a bit more power..
ghettoman - 2011-12-02 02:55
boo !
