need 6 1/2 " speakers in cream colour with chrome voice coil...

i think 8787 ones will do as well.....in fact any sharp 6 1/2" cream speakers with chrome caps

I changed the speakers in my 575 for 6 1/2" drivers from a VW Golf/polo they sound a lot better and are plentiful and cheap on ebay

The holes line up though you do have to remove the odd bit of plastic from the sharp cabinet inside nothing serious though

I sprayed them red and (sorry to say this) but i carefully cut the chrome centre domes off the Sharp speakers and stuck them on the new drivers.

What type of spray paint can/did you use on speaker cones? Did you need to prime them first?

yes i used a grey primer, that colour was Ford Sunburst red, i also made up a mask so i didnt spray the surrounds

i did have a 7500 dave,they only have 4" woofers,i gave it to Member Meljak when he came to my house..think he's still got it or might have moved it on,not sure..
