haha i may be able to help you on the pj33...i had 3 not sure where they are at the moment....personally i wouldn't bother with the 35...it has less power and dosen't sound a patch on the 33....would you be interested in trading one of your walkmans for one of these???...you would need to pay post wich wouldn't be cheap from the uk....also what voltage are you???we are 230v over here

philmurray - 2012-07-30 17:45

230V here too fortunately. postage would be the issue LOL as they are a reasonably heavy unit from what i remember.

radio.raheem - 2012-07-30 17:50

yea...there quite heavy but a small unit....im guessing postage would be around £80.tracked...but these do pop on ebay quite oftern and they usally sell for around the £40 mark...hope this helps

philmurray - 2012-07-30 17:52

This is one of the best boombox I've ever wanted back in the 80s but couldn't afford back then. Tried looking for one last couple of months ago but end up buying the JVC mini component system. Almost closed a deal with a seller  named 'Decent man for u' on the PJ-55 but unfortunately he never replied.

the pj33 was my first boombox all those years ago

your better off staying well clear of dm4u.....least thats what people recommend around here

philmurray - 2012-07-30 18:03

This is why this forum is so important, keep everyone aware of dodgy sellers while helping each other out and learning more about the portable audio genre when the 80's reigned supreme in design and features
