I'm looking to buy a 12 volt motor for my Aiwa CA70.
Mine is fried beyond repair due to the belts turning to goo and overheating the motor.
It is the smaller style motor.

Try different motors skippy....a different motor was used on my 970....i think an origional one is going to be hard to find, just like it would have been impossible to find one for my 970

No Lit,the motor I need is a 12 volt.
but I need one like the size of the 9 volt one on the left.
Not like the bigger 12 volt on on the right.

I tried all the 12 volt motors I have,but they are all too fast.
Even too fast to adjust them to normal playing speed.
That is why I think it is probably a 1600 to 2000 rpm or less motor.
damn.....skip i actually have one...but it would be a shame to actually trash a working unit....try dell's idea.....my 970 took about 10 motors before the correct one was found
