Hi everyone,

am new here having just got myself an old JVC PC-5, this forum looked like the best place to get some help.

I'm looking for a tape selector cover (I guess they break off quite a lot) and a new speaker front panel (the complete plastic part on the front of the chipboard speaker cabinet).

Was wondering if anyone out there has this sort of thing lying around and would be prepared to sell it for a small/reasonable price. Neither part needs to be cosmetically perfect, just functional and not cracked.

I'm in the UK but would be happy to pay shipping if you have the parts and are further afield.

I'm getting quite attached already and want to get the old beast up and running properly.

good unit very underated i was surprised when i got mine great sound from those tiny speakers puts some bigger boxes to shame , parts will be hard to find for it but you could strike lucky on here they weigh a ton to, need a handle myself good hunting and welcome 

Thanks for the reply. Yeh, it sounds great, the foam had gone on the cones which I've fixed now and the volume etc was crackling which I've also now fixed, other than that its completely working throughout, just a little bit messy cosmetically but I kinda like that as it gives it character.
