Clairtone 7980 alarm IR sensor wanted

Hi,
I'm new here & just bought a 7980 in good repair except for the alarm. The alarm ciruit works but the sensor doesn't. No part number on the damaged part. No schematics either. Tried a couple other "best guess" sensors but they didn't work.
Can anyone sell me that part or at least tell me exactly what it is I need to look for?
