I know! I went to about $300 but was cringing at the other costs with getting it over here. Wanted it bad. Things are getting out of hand; An Aiwa 990 went for similar money last night. You just can't spend £350 on one of these after duty and carriage. Particularly because the VAT that you have to pay is on the total including carriage! You pay tax on the effectively nothing! Makes me sick.

what a beauty dave , aiwas tick all the boxes for me just something about them i could quite happlily just collect them but it would be difficult as some of them you never see .

looking at my 990 i think you need to be a rocket scientist to fix em,mine has been rebelted by repair shops about five times and the deck works when it can be bothered,
i think they were over engineered,the repair man is probably baffled lee.
