Hi! I'm new to the forum and have 6 mid sized boomers so far. I would like a large good looking good sounding box for my collection.I don't mind a few scratches and dings or non running casstte deck along as not too shabby and working. A sharp gf 777 or panasonic rx 7000 or variants would be perfect, if anyone is thinking of selling please get in touch with me Cheers Smeats

Ah! I think I can learn I lot from you guys and not just about boomboxes haha! I once got a crown sz5100 off epay delivered to my brother's work then told mrs I "found" it at a car booty a few weeks later

the box you are looking for is the 777 for size and music power, the pana 7000 is a mid size box, if size is what you want the 777 is the one, good luck.

Thanks for advice Driptip I have been close to winning a couple of 777s on ebay but no joy yet.At the moment I'm switching between an Aiwa trp 968 and a sharp gf 575 bought fairly cheap on ebay after reading members comments on here about sound quality and value. I'm not looking anything too pricey or mint just a presentable box to Love for years cos its big and impressive and in my living room and will be my main home stereo that I can put mp3 player through. So if a member has a 777 or similar that has a bust cassete deck or non orignal parts or minor scuffs or dings that puts them off a bit and would like a bit of cash, please let me know!
