wanted fully working in good condition.....cash waiting or trade with m90

the 909 is a cracking box Lee, I was lucky enough to score a minty one a good few year back at a bootsale for a tenner.
one of my biggest regrets was ever getting rid, best of luck getting one

i should be hung drawn and quartered Lee no question, don't think iv'e ever come across a box that's built as good or sounds as good considering the size of the woofers pioneers just ooze quality, the name says it all i bet you'le have one soon enough though Lee

Truer words have nver been spoken Bison. The 909 is audio candy for the eyes and the ears...now if I can just find a minty SK95...my life would be complete.

sk 95 is much better sounding than the 909 but then who listens to me

I just did Nice to know Reno...I've heard the 95 in person but never the 909. Thanks for the info!

I sold my 95 yrs ago very nice brutus.....the 909 does have better highs though.....2 of the drivers (inside ones are passive radiators) i may have one left not sure....needs work....i have a pioneer now similar to the 95 and it sounds nice.....not as loud as the 909 though.....the 909 is very misleading much smaller than a 777 for example

My vote also for SK-95.
It has a very sweet sound and is non-fatigue to the ears. The Treble is like from an Hi-Fi.
And the best LED VU meter ever seen in any boombox.
I was lucky to acquire a SK-95 and a SK-70 (Japanese SK-71 I suppose) on the same day!

The sony cfs-f40, sounds, exactly the same as the 909. They have the same speaker configuration (1 driver + 1 passive), and, the speakers are the same size. You could put a blindfold on, and, you wouldn`t tell which is which. The f40, is about 3/4kg heavier.
