Can I ask, do you mean Aiwa TPR-985 or a 950? The 985 is silly rare and has the clcok/timer. I didn't know anyone else had heard of this model. I had one ages back, think I swapped it with something Litfan gave me?

Oh no, really? It was an interesting box alright, not as nice looking as the 950 but certainly rare. So radioheir has the old 985

Fraid so. I could never get it to play at the right speed. When you said, you had a tpr985, i had never heard of it. Can you remember, putting me onto that mate of yours, who was selling a panasonic RS4360 (rx7700)? Boy, did i have a job finding that place. Nice couple though, him and his wife. I left my "winger" tape behind. He phoned, and, offered to send it, but, i told him to keep it. Is his name sam?

Ha, yes, Sam, still chat to him from time to time. I remember that Panasonic well, I really wanted it but it was way out of my price range. Did you drive down to Kingston for it? Jesus, that was a while ago now. He's a big shout in the music industry now - http://www.musicweek.com/news/...s-a-r-manager/054689

Whoa, there`s a face from the past. Yeah, i knocked on more doors, asking if sam lived there, only to be told, you want the next street down lovey. A lot of those streets, are just wide enough, to get one car through, and, it was chucking it down.
