guys ive just tried re belting my newly aquired hitachi trk 8080,only to find that i havent got the right size main flywheel belt (the wider one)....can anyone see fit to helping me out,and slipping me one in the post?ill pay whatever it takes to get it,ive got the other belts,for the secondry pulley and the tape counter i just need the flywheel one.cant provide sizes as the one that came off it disintegrated when i removed itpm me if you can assist.cheers.

from what i can tell of the disintigrated belt it needs to be a flat belt,approx 0.4mm wide and approx 10cm long when laid flat,hope this helps

Well I tried!...as you know, I went through my shed last night looking for one!

I get mine in multipacks off ebay

0.4cm wide rather than 0.4mm surely?...otherwise thats seriously thin!
