Man I just lost The bidding war, thought I had it, but last 1 second I was defeated.  Have been looking for this box for some time in the soft gold color.  So if there is another one out there and you want to part with it.  Let me know.  But I am not holding my breathe.  I wouldn't get rid of it either.  Someone one here had to win it, If they did please let me know if the condition was what it looked like from the pictures.

This looks better than the pics. I usually don't pay any attention to the newer short boomboxes. This one caught my eye and I had to add it to my collection. I was researching some info on this Fisher unit and came across your post. I know what it's like when you let one get away. It happens to me occasionally.

ive been done like this before,bidding right up to the end,then pipped to the post at the very end by some scroat thats going to bounce it back up on ebay for a profit....this is why i dont bother with ebay any more....too much of a dissapointment,and what a shame as that box looks beautiful,even nicer in that colourway than the silver
