I just received my lovely RISING 20/20 from SINISTER after it being in the post for less than a week and I'm in joyous raptures over it.

Many, many thanks to Sin for his brilliant service and packing. I really hope to buy again off him soon and wholeheartedly recommend buying off him to anyone based on my experience.

haha I don't think I will be, one of the reasons I fell in love with the radio originally was Rambo Estrada's gorgeous photography, as seen below:



The warm yellow of the original lamps is a part of the radio I really love. Ironically I read your post, Tha Fuzz, right while I was soldering in a replacement bulb for the blown right one that I culled from a mono junker. The timing certainly raised a chuckle.

It's not exact, but the light is 99% accurate to the original left lamp now, which is good enough for me. I think I'll keep an eye out for old little tube style globes so I can hae a little cache of them for when the next RISING lamp eventually blows.

But, geezum crow, I adore this radio.
