By the way Brett, I just bought a Pioneer W-300 from our member Jared to help him out, How does this one sounds by any chance?

I don't have that model; different series. However, within the original CK set there was a CK-W3 which had the CK-3 tuner/amp with the CT-C9W double deck. This unit didn't run on D cells. Just AC or 12 volt power source only.

I have the CK-3 model, But the same problem the speakers are rotted, But these speakers are round not square, Mines is with the single cassette and bass and treble sliders Smile.

I have a ck-5 that needs refoaming. Prime I read your refoam post, very good, it is closed so I thought I would ask for your advice here. What is harder straitening the foam out or running it arround the corners? how did you aline the voice coil? what kind of glue did you use to rejoin the foam and did you butt the joints or overlapp a little? You must have a lot of paitence.I have done a few refoams but I have been putting off this one. Do you think 6x9 foams would be any easier? It would probaly still take 2 per speaker.
Thanks Al.

Hey 25068, you might get a faster response from Prime if you send him a PM (private message). Just click on his name above his profile picture and then select "Invite Prime to a Private Topic." Smile

Yeah Prime is the Sir. Lord of the CK series and a real nice guy for sure!

Those Pioneers sounded great at the meet, I might consider one in the future.
