Just received my second-ever boombox from Skippy1969, and it's tasty-good! It's the formerly-owned-by-Ira (don't hold that against it) Aiwa CS-660U that Skippy offered for sale here on S2G a week or so ago. It's big, bossy and bassy! (B³ for short.) It's also a real eye-catcher, not just because it's in beautiful cosmetic shape, but also because the design is a total knockout.
The only "fault" is that the Dynamic Super Loudness button is permanently in the "on" position. Which is really only a fault if you're the kind of person who thinks that always having the electricity on in your house is a fault. I mean, who doesn't listen to a boombox with the Loudness on?
Just like before, Skippy's shipping (S² for short) was extra quick (he had the 660 boxed up even before I paid!), his packing was perfect, and his communication was frequent, friendly and helpful.
Thanks, Skip, for a sweet deal and a transaction that's actually made me start to (after years of hating them on eBay) like transactions again.
Bottom line: there's no such thing as too much Skippy!
Thanks BBoomer,I'm glad you like the 660 and it made the trip ok.
Enjoy it my friend!!
Nice pic BTW!!!!!! LOLOLOL!!!!
about the beautiful design --
and about the DSL circuit --
with that series of aiwas --the DSL MAKES the box great-
in fact- on mine - its the opposite --the DSL button pops out --so -- to make sure its ALWAYS on --

Hi Ira-I first started the toothpick thing for my Juliette back in 75'!!
I liked putting the toothpick in the dial light for all night viewing of the fm/am dial!!
It works great!
Have a great weekend-GB.
Looks like Ira's onto something here. Seems he isn't the only one who's discovered the versatility of toothpicks.
Here's someone who uses them to keep the pinch rollers in his printer from making streaks on the paper.
Ira Lesson #134: When it comes to quick fixes, wood is good!
Actually, it seems a nicely wedged toothpick can be used to keep many things either open or closed. (Look carefully.)
PLUS +++++
toothpicks rarely transmit electrical current-
and , in some third world countries --
they are handy for handling pineapple chunks
And they are great for handling those little cocktail wienies so your fingers don't get all messy with BBQ sauce.

Hi babyboomer-That photo is so cool!
It reminds me of Benji Bellamy from Leave It To Beaver-he got into everything. He poured a whole bucket of green paint on himself onetime-COOL!!!
Thanks for the photo.
I actually have a toothpick in my GF-9191X.
It's in the editor button holding it down-Humms a little with it up.
No humm-with it pushed down-I'm trying to fix 1 box at a time right now.
Have a good one-GB.
